Council Work Plan Survey available
City Council seeks community input and ideas to prepare for its 2023 work plan session. You are invited to share ideas online or on paper in English and Spanish. The survey will be available until Sunday, November 13. Results will be distributed to Council ahead of its early December work plan session.

Each year, City Council’s annual work plan session provides an opportunity to revisit high-level goals and identify key projects for the organization to undertake. The work plan helps ensure that the organization is aligned with Council’s priorities for the community. The community survey seeks input and ideas for projects to further Council’s goals for next year and beyond. Feedback the City received will form the basis of City Council’s 2023 strategic planning work session on December 3rd.
City Council is responsible for the policy direction of the City, and Council’s annual work plan will set the direction for the City in the near term. Each year, Council has evaluated and modified goals, moving some lower and others higher to continue work for improvements for the City of Hood River. The city manager, department directors and staff members work on projects identified in the Council Work Plan to make progress on goals for Council.
