PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR
The Public Works Director is a self-directed and highly accountable position providing oversight, direction and leadership to the Public Works Department. The Public Works Director is responsible for a full range of Public Works services through a talented staff and has the ability to work through independent action and decision making within the framework of Council goals and general direction of the City Manager. The Director develops and administers the department budget and directs the forecast of additional funds as needed. It is anticipated that, if qualified the Public Works Director would serve as the City Engineer.
