Landmarks Review Board
The Landmarks Review Board consists of seven volunteer members appointed by the City Council. The Landmarks Review Board reviews alterations to historic buildings or buildings in a historic district, new construction in a historic district, and demolitions in a historic district. The Landmarks Board also advises the City Council on designations of historic landmarks or districts, historic preservation code amendments, other activities relating to preservation of historic landmarks.
The Landmarks Review Board meets on an as needed basis, several times per year, at varying days and times.

VACANCY – The City of Hood River is accepting applications for a vacancy on the City Landmarks Review Board, a volunteer position. Applicants must reside in Hood River city limits or in Hood River county. The positions is a 3-year term. The landmarks board is a seven-member body appointed by the City Council. The City Council will consider individuals who have demonstrated an interest in historic preservation and have experience or special expertise or knowledge in the field of history, archaeology, architecture, the arts, historic preservation, culture, planning, landscape architecture, business, real estate, law, government, engineering, construction or other related fields.
