Middle Housing Construction Incentive
The Hood River Urban Renewal Agency is now accepting applications for the Middle Housing Incentive Program. This program reimburses builders of smaller homes in the Westside Urban Renewal District for development fees paid exceeding 7% of a home’s construction cost.
To be eligible, new homes must:
1. Comply with the City’s Middle Housing code:
hoodriver.municipal.codes/HRMC/17.25 or meet size restrictions for apartments.
2. Build in the Westside Urban Renewal District, which contains most of the City’s undeveloped land: cityofhoodriver.gov/urban-renewal/westside.
