Work on the Eugene Water/Sewer Construction continues with the following milestones:

  1. All waterline portions of the project are complete.
  2. Sewer will be completed this week.
  3. Rebuilding 10th and 11th between Sherman and Eugene has started this week.
  4. Paving operations for Eugene are scheduled to begin October 9th.

The City of Hood River is expecting to begin construction on the Eugene Street Water and Sewer Replacement Project on July 10th. This first phase of the project will focus on Eugene Street from 9th-12th Streets. Travelers can expect the Westbound lane to be closed, with detours and flaggers rerouting traffic. Final paving is anticipated to be completed by mid-October, while side streets are scheduled for reconstruction during spring of 2024. We appreciate your patience as we continue our necessary work on water and sewer infrastructure in the City.
