The City of Hood River is partnering with the Hood River Soil and Water Conservation District to host a series of puncturevine pulls this July. Puncturevine(Tribulus terrestris), also known as goathead, is an invasive and noxious plant that is not only toxic, but also a nuisance for bikes and painful if stepped on.
We encourage you to sign up to volunteer by heading to the volunteer opportunity on Hood River Soil and Water Conservation District’s website: https://hoodriverswcd.org/2023/06/13/puncturevine-pull-volunteer-opportunities/
