The City of Hood River invites you to an Open House to learn about updates on the Heights Streetscape Plan!
The Heights Streetscape Plan, a plan to enhance the Heights Business District by creating safe streets for people, calming traffic, and fostering local identity, has completed preliminary engineering for the first projects.
Expected to start in 2027, these projects include Taylor Avenue bike and pedestrian improvements, and enhanced crosswalks at Taylor Avenue, Pine Street, and A Street. These projects have completed their 30% Engineered Design (a basic layout with cost estimates) and are ready for community review.
Join us for an open house to review the designs in more detail and ask questions!
