2nd and Oak Construction Begins
Installation of the traffic light at 2nd and Oak streets in downtown Hood River begins the first week of February 2024. During construction, the entire intersection will be closed to vehicle traffic, with detours. Please plan ahead, use alternate routes, and give yourself extra time for travel if you use this intersection for your commute.
Montello Water and Wastewater Replacement
March 7, 2024 Construction on the Montello Water and Wastewater Replacement project is expected to begin in April of 2024. December 18, 2023 Work on Montello Avenue from 2nd – 6th Streets is expected to begin in Spring 2023 to replace leaded joints and old clay sewer lines.
