Immigration Resources

The City of Hood River is committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming City to the entire community, regardless of immigration status. In February 2025, the Hood River City Council reaffirmed their commitment to inclusivity through Resolution 2025-06: Resolution Affirming the City of Hood River as an Inclusive and Welcoming City, available in both English and Spanish. In January 2026, Council declared the City of Hood River a Sanctuary City in Resolution 2026-02: Resolution Declaring the City of Hood River a Sanctuary City for All Persons, Regardless of Race, National Origin, Immigration or Refugee Status. The Resolution is available in English, and a Spanish version will be available soon.

Despite the City’s commitment to inclusivity and the state’s Sanctuary Promise Laws, the City is not informed of, nor has the authority to stop or interfere with immigration enforcement.
