Heights District Urban Design & Engineering Project - Scoring Criteria Workshop

This is a special meeting of the Urban Renewal Agency Board (URAB) with joint participation by the Urban Renewal Advisory Committee (URAC). The public is invited to attend and there will be opportunity for comment, but the focus will be on soliciting targeted direction from the URAB & URAC. Larger public workshops on the Heights Urban Design & Engineering Project are scheduled to follow.

The goal of this meeting is to review the goals of the Heights Urban Renewal Plan (amended in 2016) to identify the high-priority goals and set direction for the Hood River Heights Urban Design & Engineering project. The URAB & URAC will engage in an in-meeting exercise and discussion, review preliminary scoring criteria, and suggest new or different criteria. The scoring criteria will be used to evaluate strengths and weaknesses of the project’s alternatives developed later in the project with regard to the stated goals and values of the community. The results of the exercise and discussion will be a meeting summary prepared by the consultant team for the board and committee to review and affirm.
