City Budget Committee Meeting - May 6, 2020

NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING – CITY OF HOOD RIVER

Public meetings of the Budget Committee of the City of Hood River, Hood River County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2020, to June 30, 2021, will be held on, Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at 6:00 PM, Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at 6:00 PM, and Wednesday, May 13, 7:00 PM. The purpose of these public meetings is for the Budget Committee to receive the budget message and deliberate on the FY 2020-21 Budget. An additional meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 at 6:00 PM, to receive the Urban Renewal Agency budget message and deliberate on the FY 2020-21 URA Budget. A copy of the City and URA budget documents will be available on the City of Hood River’s website https://cityofhoodriver.gov/administration/finance-reports/ on or before April 24, 2020.

The City of Hood River is taking steps to limit exposure and spread of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus). In support of state and federal guidelines for social distancing, the City of Hood River will hold these meetings by using Zoom Conferencing. Please check the City’s website https://cityofhoodriver.gov/administration/meetings/ to view meeting agendas, packets and information on how to connect to the meeting through Zoom. Public input will be taken during the Wednesday, May 13 budget hearing portion of the meeting (City and URA).  To address the Budget Committee, email the request to j.gray@cityofhoodriver.gov by May 11, 2020 5:00PM. Testimony will go in order of requests received. Attendees that have registered will be unmuted by the IT Administrator for 3 minutes to address the Committee. Public comment will be by audio only. Written comment can be submitted to j.gray@cityofhoodriver.gov by Monday, May 11, 2020 5:00PM in order to distribute to the Budget Committee for review. Comments will be added to the record.
