City of Hood River Annual Work Plan
Projects undertaken by the City of Hood River to meet the community’s long-term needs.
The purpose of an annual work plan is to identify the highest priority policy and operational projects for the organization for a single year. The work plan aligns the organization to Council’s collective priorities and communicates those priorities clearly to the organization and the public.
Most of the organization’s time is focused on day-to-day service delivery.
- Community identity & standards (land use, permitting, current and long-term planning)
- Community safety (24/7 emergency response from police, fire & EMS, building codes administration)
- Community infrastructure & appearance (basic and fundamental services such as water, sewer, roads, and maintenance of physical assets).
